The Sadie Hills Hotel sits on the ocean block at 120th Street, which is the part of Ocean City where the crowd thins out and you can still hear the water from the parking lot. The beach is a three minute walk down the dune crossing, and there is a parking space with your name on it for the whole stay. That combination is harder to find up here than you would think.
We have three kinds of rooms and none of them are a surprise. A King Room for two, a Two Queens for four, and an Oceanfront Suite with a separate living room and a balcony that runs the width of it for six. Every room has free Wi-Fi, a mini-fridge and a Keurig, and every guest gets continental breakfast from 7 to 10 AM and the heated pool from Memorial Day to late September.
The front desk is staffed 7 AM to 11 PM and after that you let yourself in with a keypad code we send the day you arrive. We are smoke-free throughout and we cannot take pets, though service animals are always welcome. Everything else, from the beach chairs by the side door to the ice machine on your floor, is there to save you a trip.
